Empowerment
Its time for me to shine.
The Marianne Williamson quote made famous by Nelson Mandela –
“Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome and famous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people around you won’t feel insecure. We were born to manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some, it is in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
GOAL ACHIEVEMENT
COMMITMENT + CONSISTENCY= SUCCESS
Personal Responsibility Principle
I always give a “212°” effort in everything I do.
“At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212°, it boils. And with boiling water comes steam. And steam can power a locomotive.”
One Degree – Raising the temperature of water by one extra degree means the difference between only hot water and something that generates enough force to power an immense machine. It’s a natural and scientific law that demonstrates and reminds us that – Seemingly small things can make tremendous differences!!!
The difference between merely having a desire to achieve a goal and making a commitment to achieve a goal is one degree. The difference between action and persistent additional action is one degree. By applying one extra degree of effort, results not only in achieving your goal, but also in unimaginable rewards and benefits. Take action with commitment.
It’s your life. YOU are responsible for your results. It’s time to turn up the heat.
Take ownership of this principle – 212°, and not merely take action or do merely what’s expected, but rather take action with a commitment to shoot for 212° in everything you do. Applying this simple principle to your life absolutely assures you life-altering, positive and exponential results.
Success and failure – victory and defeat are many times separated by the narrowest of margins. Give that one degree more effort when you don’t think you can do any more –and watch the boiling water turn into the steam that moves the train.
You now have a target for everything you do…212°!
(quote/paraphrases from 212° the extra degree by Sam Parker & Mac Anderson)
Happiness is Now!
The time for me to be happy is now.
Life or happiness won’t suddenly begin after certain events, obligations or obstacles have occurred or been overcome. They are part of the road of life. There is no road to happiness. Happiness is the road! Happiness is collection of beautiful life-moments experienced and strung throughout our lives. Remember to focus on the life’s pearls on the string, rather than the string.
You have everything!
Focus on what you have.
When you focus on what you do not have, you have nothing. But, if you focus on what you do have, you have everything.
Help others win!
A constant goal of mine is to help others win!
One of the greatest gifts we can do for others is to help them win. It can change their life and in turn, all the lives that they will touch during their lifetime.
